
Eugénie is a French dramatic soprano.
She studied at the Lyon Conservatory before quickly joining the Opera Studio of the Opéra national du Rhin.
She has won numerous awards, including Second Prize, the Zarzuela Prize, and the Birgit Nilsson Prize at Operalia, as well as Second Prize at the Tenor Viñas Competition in Barcelona and at Neue Stimmen in Germany.
She was named “Revelation Lyric Artist” at the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2022.
In recent seasons, she has performed the roles of Adalgisa in Norma, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Mother Marie in Dialogues des Carmélites, the title role in Carmen, the Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Bonté in Guercœur, the Princess of Granada in Les Brigands, as well as Karolka in Jenůfa and Mary in The Flying Dutchman.
She has already appeared at the Opéra de Paris, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Opéra national du Rhin, the Opéra de Marseille, the Théâtre du Capitole, the Opéra national de Lorraine, the Opéra de Rouen Normandie, the Opéra de Lausanne, and at the Ravenna Festival under the baton of Riccardo Muti.
This season marks a major turning point in her career, as she will make her debut in a major dramatic soprano role, Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos, at the Opéra national du Rhin and the Opéra de Dijon.
She will also sing Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust in Rouen before returning to the Opéra de Paris for Le Miroir de nos peines in the role of Sister Cécile.
